According to The Mirror, Wigan Athletic teenager Sean McGurk has agreed terms to join Leeds United, with only compensation to sort out.
The Whites have been chasing McGurk for a while now, and failed with moves to sign him in the last two transfer windows.
They now appear to have landed their man this time though as McGurk’s contract with Wigan came to an end last week.
It’s claimed that McGurk has now agreed personal terms with Leeds and will confirm his move to Elland Road imminently.
Leeds are discussing compensation with the League One side in an attempt to finalise the deal and finally bring McGurk to West Yorkshire after all.
McGurk, 18, was previously on the books of Liverpool before heading to Wigan in 2016, and has yet to make his senior debut for the Latics.

Primarily an attacking midfielder, McGurk has seemingly done enough to impress Leeds – especially having been so keen to sign him in the last couple of windows.
Leeds raided Wigan to sign young forward Joe Gelhardt last summer, and are now just one step away from reuniting him with McGurk in another exciting move for the future.
