Felix Wiedwald has lost his place in the Leeds United starting lineup.

Much was expected of Felix Wiedwald when he joined Leeds United in the summer transfer window, but the German goalkeeper has not had the best of times at Elland Road so far.
Wiedwald, who cost Leeds £500,000 in transfer fees when he switched from Werder Bremen in the summer of 2017 according to The Express, has made mistakes on many occasions this season and has been dropped from the starting lineup.

If Bailey Peacock-Farrell continues to play well and does not get injured, then the 28-year-old goalkeeper will find it hard to reclaim his place in the Whites’ team this season.
One should not be surprised if Leeds decide to cash in on Wiedwald in the summer transfer window, and the goalkeeper, too, may not be willing to be a back-up next season.

The problem, though, is that the Championship club could struggle to find a buyer for Wiedwald, especially one who will pay at least £500,000 in transfer fees.
The 28-year-old will not have impressed too many clubs in England with his performances, and leaving for a team in mainland Europe may mean that the goalkeeper will have to take a pay-cut – which he may not be willing to.
Leeds and Wiedwald could be stuck with each other for a while.
