Leeds United are said to be interested in Swansea City winger Daniel James.

Leeds United may well be playing a clever game by putting pressure on Swansea City over Daniel James.

Leeds are said to be very interested in James by the Yorkshire Evening Post, with a bid of around £3 million expected to be enough to get him.

Swansea have been pondering whether to sell, and during that time Leeds have also drawn up other targets.

The YEP have reported how Leeds are now targeting Callum O’Dowda of Bristol City, and by doing so they have put Swansea under serious pressure.

Swansea are struggling for cash right now, and although they may not want to sell James, they also won’t want to lose him for a cut-price.

With James having just 18 months left on his contract, this may be their best chance to raise funds for the winger.

And Leeds are now putting them under considerable pressure to make their minds up over accepting their bid, by announcing their interest in another wing-target.
