Leeds United want Maximilian Wober and talks have started over a deal worth up to €16million (£14million) for the Red Bull Salzburg star.
Here we go again – Leeds are going after a Red Bull player!
Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen arrived from Red Bull Salzburg over the summer whilst Tyler Adams came in from RB Leipzig.
All three had played under Jesse Marsch before and the same goes for Wober, who could now join Leeds from Salzburg too.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Leeds are set for discussions to sign Wober in a deal worth €11million (£9.7million) plus €5million (£4.4million) in add-ons.
Wober played 68 times under Marsch at Salzburg and has never played more games under one manager.

Who is Leeds target Maximilian Wober?
Wober, 24, emerged in his native Austria with Rapid Wien before being snapped up by Ajax in 2017.
The left back – who can also play at centre back – played under Erik ten Hag in Amsterdam but was then loaned out and sold to Sevilla.
The move to Spain didn’t exactly work and just weeks after his loan was turned permanent, he was sold to Salzburg.
Now a vital player for Salzburg, Wober has racked up 125 games for the club whilst bagging nine goals and nine assists.
Wober may be ready for another big move as Leeds desperately seek a quality left back option.
Earlier this year, Wober admitted to Sky Sports Austria that Manchester United are his ‘absolute dream club’ having been asked about a reunion with Ten Hag.
Leeds fans will understandably want to hear less of that from Wober and ultimately show him that there is just one United he should want to join.
Should a deal go through, Wober will soon learn that Leeds fans don’t have any time for the Red Devils.
Sure, players can support who they want and Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs around – they will have fans everywhere.
Yet many fall in love with Leeds once they get there and Wober may be the latest to do just that, just like former teammate Aaronson.
Marsch is clearly a big fan of Wober and if he can be a more solid option than Junior Firpo, this could be just what the Whites need in January.
