Leeds pounced in January of this year to snap up Espanyol striker Mateo Joseph.
Joseph, 19, arrived from Espanyol having previously been in the Racing Santander ranks.
The striker – who has an English father – headed into the Leeds youth ranks with the hope of becoming a Premier League star.
Joseph has been in frankly ridiculous form this season.

Joseph has been given his Premier League debut this season, coming on for just one minute against Tottenham Hotspur before the World Cup break.
Joseph was even given 90 minutes against Wolves in the EFL Cup earlier this month.
Manager Jesse Marsch praised Joseph after that performance, suggesting that the ‘future is bright’ having seen him play with such confidence.
Leeds are now trying to secure Joseph for the future with The Sun’s Alan Nixon reporting that the Whites are offering him a new contract.
Joseph will allegedly see his wages ‘soar’ with a new contract that will make him a fixture for years to come at Elland Road.
The hope is that Leeds have a real goalscoring sensation of the future in their hands and the focus is now on keeping him.
