Marcelo Bielsa on Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips
Bielsa told Leeds Live about Phillips: “He is expected to return in the first few days of March and his recovery has been going as expected.”
Good news
In our view, Bielsa’s comments on Phillips are very encouraging for Leeds fans.
It seems that Phillips will be back as expected, and that is certainly great for Leeds.

The West Yorkshire club are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Leeds are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 22 matches.
Bielsa’s side are only six points above the relegation zone.
Phillips is one of the best players in the Premier League and is arguably the best midfielder in the Leeds team.
So, in our view, the Englishman potentially being back next month will enhance Leeds’s chances of escaping the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
