The Whites manager was in conversation with Guillem Balague, who spent several days at Elland Road for a BBC radio documentary.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has spoken out about the fans’ expectations of the team and also shared what effect their support needs to have on the players and staff.
The Argentine coach has masterminded a revolution at Elland Road, turning the Whites from a middling Championship side into one seeking automatic promotion in a short amount of time.
Since the start of 2019, Leeds’ form has stumbled somewhat but they remain level on points with second-placed Sheffield United and just two behind leaders Norwich City, so promotion is very much still on the agenda.
Although there have been some criticisms of the team’s form and of the failure to strengthen certain areas in the January transfer window, criticism of Bielsa himself is hard to find among the Elland Road faithful.
Highly respected Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague spent four days with Bielsa at the club for a documentary for BBC Radio 5 Live, which will be broadcast on Thursday at 8pm GMT.

In conversation with Bielsa, as quoted by the BBC Sport website, the coach said: “I think that the expectations of the fans are legitimate ones.
“We know what a fan feels about the possibility of having the team promoted. But we have the same hopes as the fans. First of all because we desire the same things as them, and second because we assume we are representing the feelings of many people and this has to increase our strength.”
Leeds are back in action on Friday night with a crucial Championship home meeting with fellow promotion chasers West Bromwich Albion.
