Leeds United want to sign Marc Roca and the Spaniard has been hailed by Spanish football expert Guillem Balague ahead of a possible move.
The Whites have enjoyed a busy start to the summer by securing both Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen from Red Bull Salzburg.
Jesse Marsch worked with both players in Austria and the hope is that they will hit the ground running under their former boss.
Leeds still need more new recruits after a season battling relegation and a new midfielder seems to be the focus for Marsch.
Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca has become the key target and a deal may not be too far away.
Leeds United want to sign Marc Roca
90Min claim that Leeds are now close to sealing a deal for Roca despite interest for West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Roca will cost around £12million and Leeds will gladly welcome some fresh energy into their midfield.
Roca, 25, came up through the ranks at Espanyol, racking up 121 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona-based club.
The Spaniard was snapped up by Bayern Munich in 2020 but he has managed just 15 league appearances for the club.
Bayern seem ready to sell Roca this summer and Leeds are more than happy to swoop in and take him to Elland Road.

Leeds have needed to bolster their midfield for some time now and fans will be eager to see what Roca can provide.
Spanish football expert and Espanyol fan Guillem Balague has now offered his view to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Balague has compared Roca to Manchester City midfielder Rodri from when he first joined from Atletico Madrid back in 2019.
Balague also made a comparison to Toni Kroos, praising Roca’s passing and suitability for a possession-style game, hopefully bringing some calm to the Leeds engine room.
“Roca is a variation of Rodri, but the Rodri that first arrived to the Premier League,” said Balague. “His distribution is very good. He’s a little bit like the [Toni] Kroos of Espanyol. But drop a couple of levels and you get there – obviously he’s not as good as Kroos but he’s got good short passing, clever passing up front, not like Kroos with 50 metres accurate passing, not yet. He does see a pass. For the possession game he’s absolutely brilliant, is good at reacting as well,” he added.
