Roy Keane has raved about Manchester United-owned Nottingham Forest midfielder and reported Leeds United target James Garner on ITV (5:20pm, March 20, 2022).
The former Manchester United midfielder has been impressed by what he has seen of Garner, who is on loan at Nottingham Forest in the Championship at the moment.
The Sun reported earlier this month that Leeds want to sign Garner from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Leeds have reportedly been tracking the 21-year-old midfielder since he moved on loan to Championship club Forest.
Southampton are also claimed to be interested in Garner.
Keane said about Garner on ITV (5:20pm, March 20, 2022): “He is technically very good. He likes to dictate the play, probably sits a bit more than Yates.”

James Garner would make Leeds United better
In our view, Garner would be a very good signing for Leeds in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old is a very dynamic player who would make the Whites stronger in the middle of the park.
The Forest no. 37 has made 26 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship so far this season.
Garner has scored three goals and provided four assists in those games.
In our opinion, if Leeds manage to retain their Premier League status for next season, then they should certainly make a move for Garner.
