Jamie Carragher has praised Leeds United defender Luke Ayling on Sky Sports Premier League (9:58pm, March 18, 2022) for his performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The former Liverpool defender was impressed by Ayling’s second-half performance during Leeds’s dramatic win against Wolves away from home at Molineux Stadium.

Jesse Marsch’s side came from two goals down to win 3-2 against Wolves in the Premier League on Friday evening.

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez was sent off in the 53rd minute.

Aylng played at right-back and scored the winner in injury time.

Carragher was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports, and he was impressed by Ayling.

Big win

In our view, Ayling played well for Leeds and should be proud of his display against Wolves on Friday evening.

The Wanderers were the better team until the sending-off, and Leeds took full advantage of that.

The Whites stepped up their game thereafter, and we have to say that they deserved the three points in the end.

The result has enhanced Leeds’s chances of finishing above the Premier League bottom three this season.
