Leeds United head coach Paul Heckingbottom has suggested to The Yorkshire Evening Post that at least two players will leave the club in the summer transfer window.

Heckingbottom has been quoted as saying by The Yorkshire Evening Post that he has spoken to “only a couple of them” in regard to moving on current Leeds players.

Busy summer at Leeds United

Leeds have a big squad, and it is clear that the West Yorkshire outfit have to move on quite a few of them.

There will be more than two players who will be moved on after yet another disappointing season for Leeds.

But who are the two players that Heckingbottom has spoken to about leaving Leeds?

It would be futile to speculate on that, but it is encouraging to see that the plans are in works for summer transfer activity.

Leeds need to keep hold of their best players and also make good signings in the summer transfer window in order to challenge for the Championship playoffs next season.
