Leeds United loanee Vurnon Anita has been struggling in Holland.

Leeds United midfielder Vurnon Anita has had a tough spell out on loan so far.
Anita was sent to Eredivisie side Willem II after Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa decided he was not part of his plans.
The problem for Anita is that he has not been part of Willem II’s plans either very much.
During his first few months, Anita has been a regular on the bench.
This weekend the Leeds midfielder gained his first start of the season as Willem II took on Utrecht.
It did not end well, with Anita substituted off after 74 minutes in a 1-0 home defeat.

Anita featured in central midfield and made minimal impact.
Speaking to Ompoep Brabant, Anita described the day as ‘sour’ after his side slipped to a loss.
Anita will hope the start is not just a one off, and that he can get a run in the side to kickstart his career.
After spending much of the past two seasons on the bench, Anita simply needs to play football. Despite the defeat, Anita can consider this weekend a personal victory.
