Leeds loaned Denton to Posh in the summer, and the left-back has endured a difficult start away from Elland Road.
The young defender has been kept out of the team by Colin Daniel, and he was hammered by Posh fans after his first performance for the club in the Checkatrade Trophy.
However, Denton was much improved for Peterborough at the weekend, as he helped them to a 2-1 win over Burton Albion.
And Posh fans have been quick to praise the Leeds academy graduate for his showing.
Denton has a great chance to break into Posh’s starting line-up now, as Colin Daniel has been a weak-link for Evans’ men for much of the campaign so far.
Posh are next in action against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, when Denton looks likely to keep his place.
