Leeds United loanee Pawel Cibicki played an important role last night but his team fell narrowly short.

Pawel Cibicki came close to inspiring Molde to a late comeback against Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League last night.
The Leeds United loanee came off the bench to provide an assist for teammate Braut Haaland to score a late second half goal.
Zenit were 3-1 up from the first leg and with the second leg poised at 1-1 when Cibicki came on, he crossed with his first touch to set up a goal.
Cibicki had been brought on in the 76th minute and in the 77th Molde went 2-1 up.
Molde could not quite find the third goal on the night they needed to take the Russian side to extra-time.
This was the fifth game Cibicki has played in Europa League qualifying since signing on loan from Leeds, featuring against Hibernian in the previous round.

Molde are now eliminated from the competition but the former Sweden under-21 international has picked up some vital experience from being involved.
Cibicki is on loan at Molde for six months and is scheduled to return to Leeds in January.
Last night the 24-year-old did his reputation no harm at all.
