Grot has found the adjustment to the Eredivisie just as tricky.
He started against Ajax a week ago, playing out wide, and struggled to get involved.
This week away to Utrecht, Grot was more disappointing.
He was substituted off at half-time, having touched the ball only 20 times.
His replacement Johnatan Opoku managed 33 touches, creating three chances and having two shots.
Grot by comparison managed no shots, and did not create any chances.
The 20-year-old will hope for more chances to prove himself, and really needs an opportunity in a central striker’s role to best show what he can do.
Until he gets the opportunity, it could continue to be a struggle.
