Leeds loanee disappointed in first Eredivisie start of the season.

Leeds United loanee Jay-Roy Grot made a few headlines after a run of goals in pre-season for Dutch side VVV Venlo.
Playing now in the Eredivisie, the young attacker found it more tough going this past weekend.
Grot struggled as Venlo were defeated 1-0 by Ajax, in his first start of the season.
Leeds have sent Grot out to gain first team experience after a difficult and underwhelming first season at Elland Road.
The previous weekend Grot had come on as a substitute as Venlo kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 win over Willem II.
He was promoted to starter against Ajax, but struggled, picked out wide on the right wing, going up against Argentine defender Nicolas Tagliafico.

Grot managed only 27 touches in 74 minutes before he was taken off.
He had two shots on goal, both of which landed off target, and did not create any goalscoring opportunities.
Grot was always going to have his work cut out against an Ajax defence which boasts Dutch internationals Daley Blind and Mattijs De Ligt.
He will have easier games this season and stand a better chance of recapturing his sparkling pre-season form and eye for goal.
This weekend was a ‘back to reality’ moment for the young forward, who will hope he gets another chance to start next week and start impressing parent club Leeds.
