Leeds loanee has picked up more bookings than any player in Serie A.
Loaned out Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci tops Serie A in an unwanted category.
He has picked up more bookings than any other player in Italy’s top flight, during his spell at Empoli so far.
Leeds’ Giuseppe Bellusci
Bellusci has eight bookings to his name already in 13 matches, two more than his nearest ‘rival’.
Leeds loaned Bellusci out to Empoli in July, with the Italian side having the option to buy him permanently at the end of the season.
Despite his tendency to pick up bookings, he is a regular for the side, and has scored once for them.
Empoli sit in 17th of 20 teams in Serie A, and are battling relegation. Surviving the drop would enhance Leeds’ chances of shifting Bellusci permanently.

His partnership with Sol Bamba is a distant memory, with Leeds’ settled defence of Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley looking as good as any other in the Championship over the past few weeks.
