Striker Nicky Ajose’s start to life at Crewe Alexandra could not have gone better so far.
The Leeds United loanee registered an assist on his Crewe debut and yesterday scored his first goal for the club.
The Railwaymen were 1-0 down when Ajose struck to equalise, although they went on to lose 2-1 to Scunthorpe United in League One.

Elsewhere, Leeds loanee Scott Wootton also impressed for Rotherham United during their 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest.
The defender played his part in earning a clean sheet and Rotherham boss Steve Evans is receiving plenty of praise from fans for signing Wootton on loan.
