Salzburg’s Moanes Dabour (L) celebrates scoring
Leeds United have been linked with a move for Israeli striker Moanes Dabour this week. It was reported by the Daily Mail that Leeds have their eyes on the Red Bull Salzburg striker as they look to improve their side in January.
In the Europa League this week he showed just why Leeds might be keen on the player.
He got his name on the scoresheet in the Europa League clash against Portuguese side Vitoria Guimares.

He scored in the 27th minute of the game as the Austrian side went on to win at home comfortably. He scored a sublime header at the back post to give Salzburg the lead, but was not done there. He also bagged an assist, laying the ball on a plate for Hwang Hee-Chan for the third and final goal.
Leeds need a new striker, with the club struggling to find an adequate replacement for Chris Wood after his summer switch to Burnley. Pierre-Michel Lasogga has struggled to show consistent form, whilst Kemar Roofe and Caleb Ekuban have ad just flashes.

Dabour’s strike takes him to 16 goals in 25 games this campaign and that sort of form will no doubt have Leeds dreaming of his Elland Road arrival.
