Junior Kabananga was linked to Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Hull City back in August.

When Leeds United brought in Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Caleb Ekuban and Jay-Roy Grot to replace Chris Wood in the summer transfer window, it’s fair to say they would have been hoping not to have to enter the market again for another striker just a few months later.
Yet, it appears that striking reinforcements are the priority for a Leeds side who have lost eight of their last ten Championship games. With Lasogga left out of recent clashes with Middlesbrough and Wolves, Ekuban struggling with injuries and Grot yet to fire, The Mail reports that Leeds are eyeing attackers in January.
Holstein Kiel’s Marvin Ducksch, top scorer in the 2.Bundesliga, and Red Bull Salzburg’s Moanes Dabour (below) are understood to be on their radar.

But with owner Andrea Radrizzani seemingly unwilling to spend big, Leeds should not be ruled out of making a £1.5 million move for a striker who has scored 21 goals in 43 games in 2017.
Astana forward Junior Kabananga was on the radar of Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Hull City in the summer, according to TEAMtalk – and his form and price-tag could make him a stand-out option for The Whites in January.
A quick and athletic striker who plays his international football for Congo, Kabananga fired Astana to a fourth straight Kazakhstan Premier League title in 2017 as they finished just a point ahead of Kairat.

And Astana owe their continued domination of the domestic league to Kabananga’s tally of 19 league goals across the season, making him the runner-up in the Golden Boot chase.
But will the 28-year-old cap a fantastic year by getting his big break in England?
