That’s despite the fact that Wallace is out of contract at the end of the season and could simply leave Millwall for nothing.
Millwall face mounting interest in Wallace though, with Leeds United and Watford understood to be keen.
The News claim that Leeds and Watford are ‘monitoring the situation’ surrounding Wallace and a potential January exit.
Wallace, 27, has now racked up almost 250 appearances for Millwall and has five goals and six assists in just 21 league outings this season.
Capable of playing out wide or behind a striker, Wallace is a creative force – something Leeds have lacked since Pablo Hernandez’s exit.
Leeds will now be waiting to pounce if Millwall show any indication that they will sell Wallace, no doubt hoping for a bargain.
