Leeds United produced a rousing fightback to earn a 3-3 draw against Aston Villa on Wednesday night, drawing praise from Jamie Carragher.
The Whites did take the lead at Villa Park with Daniel James finding the net, but Marcelo Bielsa’s men were in danger of drowning against Villa.
Philippe Coutinho levelled it up before the Brazilian picked up two assists for two Jacob Ramsey goals before half time.
With Coutinho running the show and Ramsey in clinical form, it looked like Leeds were facing a heavy defeat at Villa Park.
However, James popped up with another goal before the break, somehow beating Tyrone Mings to a close-range header.
That gave Leeds real belief of a result, and the equaliser came when Diego Llorente fired home from close range as Villa failed to deal with Pascal Struijk’s header.
Ezri Konsa’s red card gave Leeds hope of a stunning win, but they will absolutely take a 3-3 draw after being 3-1 down.
These are the ups and downs of Bielsa’s Leeds United. They can easily concede three in one half of football, but can just as easily go toe-to-toe and get a result.

Leeds were well worth their point at Villa, and showed the resolve that fans need to see in the battle against relegation.
Pundit Jamie Carragher took to Twitter to react to the performance, simply stating that he loves watching Leeds play under Bielsa.
Carragher is clearly entertained by the Whites, who are sheer box office thanks to Bielsa’s attacking approach.
Fans around the country may sing that they hate Leeds, but they usually make a real spectacle of any game and have won many supporters for their style of play.
