Jack Grealish clashed with Leeds United’s Tyler Adams on Friday night as England could only draw 0-0 with the United States.

England fans were in buoyant mood after the 6-2 thrashing of Iran in the first group stage game.

However, the Three Lions just weren’t at it against USA and struggled to play through the press from Gregg Berhalter’s side.

England barely created anything and had some scares at the back so maybe Gareth Southgate will be happy with a point.

England just couldn’t get going and their frustration was clear.

ITV cameras (27:50) even captured one moment where Jack Grealish lost his temper with Leeds United star Tyler Adams.

Grealish went down under a challenge from Yunus Musah; a pretty clear push, two hands to the back, no attempt to play the ball.

Grealish won the free kick as he so often does but Adams came over and offered hand to help Grealish up whilst laughing.

The Manchester City star wasn’t impressed and reacted angrily, pushing Adams away.

That moment seemingly hadn’t been picked up at the time but these new angles showed Grealish’s frustration.

Maybe Grealish thought that Adams was the one who pushed him rather than Musah, or maybe Adams was trying to wind him up.

Either way, Grealish wasn’t happy at all.

Adams was outstanding once again for the US though having already impressed against Wales in midweek.

Adams has offered a great base in the US midfield, allowing Musah and Weston McKennie to shuttle between defence and attack.

Leeds fans know how good Adams is but he is now showing it on the world stage.

Adams will be delighted to have claimed a point on Friday, keeping the US in with a chance of reaching the last 16 – all whilst getting a nibble from Grealish, which some Leeds fans will even love.
