Rodrigo De Paul to Leeds is a transfer that has caught our imaginations for quite some time now.
Andrea Radrizzani hinted at a move on Twitter last week by liking a tweet about the Argentine, and the player himself even went as far as to tweet about the move on social media over the summer.
Now, once again, with the transfer window closing in just a couple of days’ time, there has been another hint dropped.
Indeed, new Leeds United investor Chad Hurley has posted a message on social media that seems to hint at Leeds’ interest in the Udinese midfielder.
Now, this could just be a massive coincidence and Hurley could be just tweeting this picture of DePaul University innocently, but what are the chances of that?
Hurley has already shown that he’s a bit cheeky with things like this on social media, so he knows surely what he’s doing here, especially in the same week that he got involved at Leeds.
Whether or not he’s just trying to provoke a reaction from the fanbase or if he’s cryptically sending a message about an impending transfer is unknown, but this is certainly worth a look at.
Leeds aren’t expected to do anything between now and the end of the window, but this post is certainly food for thought.
