There is hope among Leeds United and other interested clubs that Brentford will sell Said Benrahma for less than £20 million and not £25 million, according to The Telegraph.

It has been reported that Leeds, West Ham United, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Leicester City all are interested in signing Benrahma from Brentford in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the Whites are ready to follow up their interest in the Algeria international winger by making an offer.

It has been further added that although Brentford – who lost to Fulham in the Championship playoff final this week – value the 24-year-old at £25 million, there is hope among interested parties that they will sell him for less than £20 million.

Good signing for Leeds United?

Described as “a tricky player” by his Brentford teammate Henrik Dalsgaard to WestLondonSport in June 2020, Benrahma would be a very good signing for Leeds and would make head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s side much better in attack

The player himself may be tempted by a move to Leeds, who will play in the Premier League next season for the first time since 2004.

According to WhoScored, the winger has made 42 starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Brentford this past season, scoring 17 goals and providing nine assists in the process.
