Peacock-Farrell went under the knife this morning, to amend a broken bone in his hand.
The 19-year-old damaged his hand in training, and now appears set for a lengthy period of time on the sidelines.
Peacock-Farrell realises he has a prolonged period of recovery ahead of him, but the youngster seemed to be in an upbeat mood after his operation.
Peacock-Farrell is very highly rated at Leeds, and he is believed to have an extremely bright future.
The youngster was handed a handful of first-team starts last season, while Steve Evans was in charge.
Peacock-Farrell is currently Leeds’ third choice stopper, and he is yet to make an appearance since Garry Monk took charge of the Yorkshire side.
