Leeds United were embarrassed on Sunday, losing 3-0 away at Crawley Town in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Whites were smashed away at the League Two side, turning in a truly dismal display with Nick Tsaroulla, Ashley Nadesan and Jordan Tunnicliffe all on the scoresheet.
Marcelo Bielsa needs to get his side back on track as soon as possible after such an awful performance, and some displays were particularly concerning.
Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla endured a nightmare, failing to get strong enough hands on Tsaroulla’s shot before letting Nadesan’s strike squirm underneath him.
Casilla did little to suggest that he should be playing Premier League football any time soon, and in truth, his contract has to be the big concern.
The 34-year-old signed a four-and-a-half-year deal back in January 2019, meaning he still has more than two years left to run on his deal.
Leeds can’t exactly release Casilla any time soon, and how many clubs will be keen on signing him having shown such poor form when called upon at Leeds?

Illan Meslier is the clear first-choice right now, but Casilla isn’t particularly offering any competition, and it will be difficult to bring in another experienced stopper if Casilla is still at the club.
Handing Casilla such a long-term deal at the age of 32 maybe wasn’t the best idea, and committing to him for that long now looks like a mistake.
Victor Orta hasn’t got much wrong in the Marcelo Bielsa era, but the move for Casilla – and particularly his contract – now appears to be a big error and an issue hanging over Leeds.
