Leeds United want George Hall and are allegedly leading the race to sign the Birmingham City teenager in the January transfer window.
The Whites need first-team additions in January in order to make sure they aren’t in another relegation battle come May.
Yet Victor Orta loves recruiting young players and that approach really paid dividends in Saturday’s win over Bournemouth.
Sam Greenwood, Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville all made big impacts in that game and Leeds could go for another youngster.

Leeds United want George Hall
The Sun report that Leeds are at the front of the queue for Birmingham City teenager George Hall.
It’s suggested that Hall’s lack of playing time this season is encouraging Premier League clubs into making a January move.
Hall is only 18 but has started just five Championship games this season despite being billed as the club’s next big thing.
Hall has played 503 Championship minutes across 15 appearances, bagging one goal and one assist.
Primarily a central midfielder, Hall is an exciting talent and Leeds are thought to be favourites for his signature.
Leeds raided Birmingham’s ranks in 2021 by signing Amari Miller and are now looking for Hall to reunite with the winger.
Hall has been hailed as ‘explosive’ and ‘dynamic’ by Birmingham youth coach Martin Olorenshaw, who praised Hall’s ability to create in the final third.
Leeds won’t be alone in this transfer chase though, given Hall’s potential.
The Daily Mail reported during the summer transfer window that Newcastle United were rivalling Leeds for Hall’s signature.
Newcastle have been looking to add more young talent to their ranks and will surely still have Hall on their radar.
Leeds will hope that their long-term chase pays off in the end but they must be wary of clubs like Newcastle swooping in.
