Garth Crooks has hailed Wilfried Gnonto after the Leeds United youngster made a big impact against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites played out a bonkers game on Saturday as they looked dead and buried at 3-1 down to the Cherries.
Rodrigo’s early penalty was cancelled out by Marcus Tavernier’s leveller before Philip Billing and Dominic Solanke appeared to have won it for Bournemouth.
Leeds started hitting back though and pulled level with goals from Sam Greenwood and Liam Cooper before Crysencio Summerville won it, sending Elland Road into delirium.

Garth Crooks has hailed Wilfried Gnonto
That goal came about because of a driving run from Wilfried Gnonto.
Leeds threw Gnonto on in search of goals and the Italian made an enormous impact.
Bournemouth were chasing a winner before a clearance found its way to Gnonto, who carried the ball forward before threading in Summerville to score.
This was just Gnonto’s second Premier League appearance since arriving from Zurich on deadline day.
The 19-year-old has been backed for a huge future and Jesse Marsch put his faith in Gnonto by bringing him on at half time.
That run and assist for Summerville’s dramatic winner showed what Gnonto can do and Leeds fans will be excited to see more.
Pundit Garth Crooks has now moved to praise Gnonto after seeing his impact for the Whites.
Crooks told BBC Sport that Leeds boss Marsch deserves real praise for sparking Leeds’ comeback with his half-time changes.
Crooks also believes that Gnonto is the strongest 19-year-old he has ever seen after witnessing his impact for Leeds.
“Jesse Marsch must take some credit for this exciting comeback,” said Crooks. “The Leeds manager made important changes to a side that was struggling and those changes worked especially Wilfred Gnonto – who looks like the strongest 19-year-old I’ve ever seen,” he added.
A 19-year-old Wayne Rooney may lay claim to a that honour but that’s the thing with Gnonto; he’s so strong yet diminutive, making him hard to knock off the ball.
Add in the pace and agility in tight areas and Gnonto looks to be a multi-faceted threat in the final third and Leeds fans should be excited to see his development.
