Chelsea duo Lewis Baker and Izzy Brown were on loan at Leeds United last season.

Much was expected of Lewis Baker and Izzy Brown when the two Chelsea players joined Leeds United on loan last summer.
However, neither Baker nor Brown made a huge impact at Elland Road last season. While the 24-year-old midfielder left Leeds in January, the 22-year-old – who can operate as an attacking midfielder, forward or winger – had injury issues and was able to play just 11 minutes in the Championship, according to WhoScored.
The two players have been sent back to England from the Republic of Ireland to continue their pre-season preparations, and they could be sold or sent out on loan in the summer transfer window, according to a report in The Express.
Leeds fans will probably not be surprised at the report that Baker and Brown’s futures at Chelsea are uncertain.

Although the Blues will have to rely on youth players next season due to the transfer ban, Baker and Brown have yet to show just how good they can be, and if Chelsea sell them duo, then it will not really come as a surprise to anyone, especially to Leeds fans.
