Leeds’ first-team players are battling against the elements today.
Leeds United head coach Garry Monk and first-team coach James Beattie have been highlighting the training conditions the club’s players are currently going through.
The weather has certainly turned in the UK this week. Winter is here and in West Yorkshire that has been keenly felt.
James Beattie
Snow has been falling in Leeds, including at the Thorp Arch training facility at the club.

Leeds United manager Garry Monk
The Magpies are top of the league at the moment and Leeds need to be in full flow if they are to pick up the result needed.
The snow has clearly not stopped Leeds in their preparations, as highlighted by Beattie with this Twitter post:
Head coach Monk was also praising the players for their commitment in the poor weather.
Leeds are currently in a good run of form at present which has seen them move into the play-off places and picking up a win against Newcastle, the champions elect, would certainly send a message to the rest of the Championship that Leeds are genuine promotion contenders.
A little bit of snow is not going to get in their way.
