Liam Bridcutt joined Nottingham Forest from Leeds United in the summer of 2017.

Leeds United’s defeat to Middlesbrough on Friday evening has led quite a few of their fans to rue the club’s decision to sell Liam Bridcutt to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2017.
The Whites suffered a 3-0 defeat to Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship on Friday evening.
The performance of Leeds was very disappointing, and the result has left the West Yorkshire outfit with a huge task of clinching a place in the playoffs.

Leeds fans were not pleased with the team’s performance or the final result, and many supporters have rued the absence of Bridcutt in the current squad.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder initially joined Leeds on loan from Sunderland in November 2015 before signing a permanent contract in the summer of 2016.
Forest signed Bridcutt in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Nottingham Post to be worth £1 million.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder has been playing well for the Reds this season, starting 21 matches in the Championship so far, and many Leeds fans wish the club had not sold him.
