Do Leeds have the ambition to spend on Derby’s Matej Vydra?

Leeds United fans are hoping the club signal their ambition by bidding for Derby County striker Matej Vydra.
The Telegraph report Derby need to cash in on Czech Republic striker after missing out on promotion in the play-offs.
Vydra, 26, scored 21 goals for Derby this season and has previously scored at a similar rate in the division for Watford.
He has scored four goals in seven matches against Leeds in his career and Whites fans are well aware of him as they try to find a replacement for Chris Wood.

Leeds sold Wood for £15 million last summer and have failed to adequately replace him, trying to do so with loan moves and bargain buys.
Vydra would be a terrific signing for Leeds, but competition would be seriously tough as he will be one of the league’s most in demand players and there could even be Premier League interest.
This summer a change of tact is needed at Leeds and Vydra would be a statement of their desire to challenge for promotion if they can get him.
At present they face an uphill task but fans are keen for the club to do all they can…
