Marcelo Bielsa made an interesting couple of substitutions during Tuesday night’s 2-2 draw away at Swansea City, and that could shape his Leeds United side to face Norwich City on Saturday.

The Argentine boss brought on Lewis Baker midway through the first half for Kalvin Phillips, with the Leeds academy graduate on a yellow card and being dominated by Swansea ace Bersant Celina.

The former Athletic Bilbao, Lazio and Marseille manager also introduced 21-year-old summer signing Jack Harrison at half-time, in place of Gjanni Alioski who was ineffective throughout the first half at the Liberty Stadium.

Indeed, the 13-time Macedonia international has perhaps not received the same level of plaudits as the likes of Samu Saiz, Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe. Of the four attacking stars, his place is most under threat.

Bielsa stated in his press conference that he feels he will not have to make too many changes to his side on Saturday, though Liam Cooper will have to be replaced after suffering an injury in the pre-match warm-up against Swansea.

But Leeds fans are desperate to see Bielsa’s half-time substitute on Tuesday night occur from the off against Norwich on Saturday, which would see Harrison start alongside Mateusz Klich, Saiz and Hernandez in Bielsa’s 4-1-4-1.
