Leeds United will lock horns with Aston Villa again next season.

Leeds United fans are urging their club to raid Aston Villa for players – and more – this summer.
Villa will spend at least another season at Championship level – their third in a row since dropping out of the Premier League – after Saturday’s play-off final defeat against Fulham.
And like many clubs in their division, the Villans could be in for a difficult summer financially – as alluded to in the statement released by owner Tony Xia on Wednesday.
In contrast, Leeds should have more funds to spend than in any recent campaign, especially after last week’s investment by 49ers Enterprises – an affiliate of the NFL franchise from San Francisco.
And a number of Aston Villa employees feature on Leeds fans’ wishlists…
Aston Villa’s Championship performance has practically mirrored that of Leeds after the Yorkshire side’s relegation 14 years ago.
Leeds finished 14th in their first season back (Villa; 13th) and were beaten play-off finalists the following campaign, which they ended in fifth (Villa; fourth).
And the Villans will hope to avoid emulating the Whites’ third attempt, which saw them finish rock bottom of the standings en route to League One.
