Leeds United are leaving it very late to get any new signings in, and that could be bad news with Marcelo Bielsa’s style so unique.

The big fear that Leeds United supporters should now have is how little time any new additions will have to fit in with Marcelo Bielsa’s system.

Bielsa’s tactics are set to be unique in the Football League, and his formula is sure to take some time to get used to.

Bielsa favours a 3-3-1-3 formation, which demands his players are comfortable in possession, are fast in transition, and press extremely high.

Leeds players have been partaking in four training sessions a day to try and get used to Bielsa’s demands before the season starts, as reported by The Sun.

But whoever Bielsa signs now will not have much time to adapt to the new Leeds boss before the season starts.

Leeds have brought in just one player so far this summer in the form of Lewis Baker, and almost all their leads seem to have gone cold recently.

Lewis Grabban has joined Nottingham Forest, while Abel Hernandez, Kyle Bartley and Matej Vydra all appear to be heading elsewhere.

The Whites now look desperately short of quality, and they are running out of time to make additions, otherwise they risk going into the new campaign thoroughly unprepared.
