Italian defender Giuseppe Bellusci left the club, joining Empoli on loan for the season with a view to a permanent move.
His departure was universally welcomed among the Leeds United faithful.
The Italian defender was disliked by the majority of the Leeds United fans for varying reasons and it was often rumoured he was a disruptive figure in the dressing room.

Leeds fans were therefore taking notice today when they saw that Bellusci, there unpopular and underachieving centre-back, was locking horns with Juventus.
He had a torrid time in a 3-0 defeat. He got in a scrap with Miralem Pjanic and was left on the ground by Gonzalo Higuain for Juventus’ second goal.
He was certainly performing at the level Leeds fans remember and, on Twitter, some rather choice words in Italian have been heading in his direction from Empoli fans.
Leeds fans, who now have the solid pairing of Kyle Bartley and Pontus Jansson at centre-back, certainly revelled in his misery…
