Leeds United defender Tom Pearce is looking forward to the new season.

Tom Pearce enjoyed a breakthrough season at Leeds United in 2017-18, and it did not come as a surprise that Everton, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace all were linked with the defender earlier this summer.
The Yorkshire Evening Post credited Bournemouth and Palace with interest in Pearce, while The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 63, May 13, 2018) stated that Everton were looking at the 20-year-old left-back (click here to read more).

Earlier this month, though, Pearce signed a new contract with Leeds, and it seems that the youngster, who can also operate as a left wing-back, will stay at Elland Road.

Pearce is looking forward to the 2018-19 campaign and working with new Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa, as he posted on social networking site Twitter.
Leeds fans have responded to the message from the England Under-21 international, and they seem to want him to make the left-back spot his own next season.
Given how Pearce played last season and his encouraging performances, the Elland Road faithful should be confident about the youngster taking his game to another level under Bielsa next season.
