Chris Basham scored the only goal of the Championship game in the 7st minute, with the home team ending the match with 10 men to the sending-off of goalkeeper Kiko Casilla in the first minute of injury time.
Sharp started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and after full time, he posted a tweet of emojis perfectly enrapturing his mood.
The 33-year-old striker was on the books of Leeds during the 2014-15 season before joining the Blades in the summer of 2015.
