Leeds United completed the signing of striker Rodrigo last week, luring him from Valencia in a real coup.
The Whites wanted to bring in a new striker this summer having won promotion to the Premier League, and decided to spend big.
Rodrigo has been brought in from Valencia, with Leeds paying a club-record £26million according to ESPN.
A 29-year-old with a season of Premier League experience under his belt with Bolton Wanderers back in 2010-11, Rodrigo now returns to England having thrived in Spain.
Rodrigo hit 59 goals in 220 games for Valencia, and whilst he only scored four league goals last season, he remains a big addition for Leeds.
Rodrigo is quick and technically gifted, whilst he can also challenge in the air whilst being able to drop deep and even press, just as Marcelo Bielsa wants.
The Leeds new boy is currently off on international duty with Spain ahead of their UEFA Nations League clashes with Germany and Ukraine over the next week.
Spain released a video of their players in training on Sunday, and Rodrigo looked impressive in that clip, even putting Sergio Ramos on his back with a nice piece of control and then a great finish.
Leeds fans spotted this clip, and raved about Rodrigo for looking ‘sharp’ and ‘class’, whilst many celebrated the image of him putting Real Madrid star Ramos on his back, with fans no doubt hoping he can do the same to Premier League defenders this coming season.
