Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the defeat suffered by the Under-23 side at the hands of their Barnsley counterparts.
The Leeds Under-23 team suffered a 3-1 defeat to their Barnsley counterparts away from home at Oakwell on Friday afternoon.
Victor Adeboyejo put the home team in the lead just before the half-hour mark, and Matty Wolfe doubled the advantage soon after, as Barnsley were 2-0 up at the half-time interval.
Jamie Shackleton halved the deficit for Leeds 10 minutes into the second half, only for Adeboyejo to make 3-1 to the home team in the 90th minute.
Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the defeat for Under-23 side – they are not happy.
The senior Leeds team are not in action this weekend, as they were knocked out of the FA Cup at the third-round stage by Newport County earlier this month.
Thomas Christiansen’s side will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Hull City away from home in the Championship.
