Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Tyler Roberts for Wales against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday evening.

Robert, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, featured for Wales in their UEFA Nations League Group B4 match against the Republic of Ireland.

The 19-year-old Leeds man came on as a substitute in the 75th minute for his debut for Wales, as Ryan Giggs’s side won 4-1.

Leeds fans were impressed with the display for Roberts, who has been on the books of the West Yorkshire outfit since January 2018 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £2.5 million.

Roberts did well during his cameo appearance for Wales, and the Leeds teenager’s performance was quite encouraging.

The youngster has yet to make an impact at Leeds due to injury issues, but hopefully as the season progresses, the 19-year-old striker will establish himself as an important player for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
