Leeds United fans have been left curious, after Thomas Christiansen deflected questions over Pierre Michel Lasogga’s absence last night.

Lasogga missed Leeds’ game against Middlesbrough and the striker’s absence was put down to ‘illness’.

However, Caleb Ekuban suggested at his press conference that Lasogga was set to miss two weeks with injury.

And Christiansen was very coy when asked about Lasogga after Leeds’ defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers last night, as he suggested he would rather talk about the players who were fit.

The response has seen Leeds fans start to ask questions, with many suggesting that all may not be what it seems with the striker.

Lasogga only joined Leeds during the summer transfer window, and his start at Elland Road has not won over all the doubters.

Lasogga has scored five goals in his first 10 appearances for Leeds, but he has often been criticised for showing a lack of mobility.

When Lasogga does return he will be in competition with Ekuban and Kemar Roofe for a place up-front at Leeds.
