Leeds United picked up a hugely impressive win away at Sheffield United on Saturday.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to laud Stuart Dallas’ display during the Whites’ stunning 1-0 win against Sheffield United that leaves Marcelo Bielsa’s men in the top two in the Championship.

Dallas has endured a mixed season. He is clearly a player that Bielsa trusts more than most and his versatility has meant that he has already played all over the pitch for the high-flyers this term.

His time at full-back has seen the Northern Ireland international come in for criticism. But his last few performances suggest that he has turned a corner.

He scored the winner against Reading in midweek – and looked very good defensively – and has now followed that up with a superb performance at Bramall Lane.

With Leeds reverting to a back three to combat the Blades’ front two, Dallas was deployed in a right wing-back role. And he arguably put in his best performance of the campaign to date.

Enda Stevens has provided five assists in the league this season, but Dallas ensured that he was fairly quiet going forward and had plenty of work to do in Leeds’ final third.

A couple of the crosses that the 27-year-old deserved to be turned into the back of the net. And while that first assist of the season may continue to elude him, his performance received a lot of praise on social media after the full-time whistle.

Many believe that they are seeing a transformation in Dallas and have lauded the popular wide-man’s recent form…
