Leeds United youngsters Sam Dalby and Yosuke Ideguchi were in action for the Under-23 side against their Coventry City counterparts on Monday evening.

The Leeds United Under-23 side were in action on Monday evening, as they took on their Coventry City counterparts at Nethermoor Park.
It was Leeds’s first Under-23 game of the season, and there was a lot of optimism among the players and the unit.
The Whites got off to a strong start in their Professional Development League campaign, as they won 2-1.
Sam Dalby was the star of the match, as the 18-year-old striker scored twice in the first half.
Yosuke Ideguchi also featured in the match, with the 21-year-old Japan international central midfielder starting the game and playing for the entire 90 minutes.
Ideguchi went close to scoring for the Leeds Under-23 side in the first half and then in the second period, and the youngster also provided the assist for Dalby’s second goal.
