Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Sam Byram joining Nottingham Forest on loan from West Ham United.
As announced on Forest’s official website, former Leeds defender Byram has moved to the Reds on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club West ham.
The 24-year-old right-back knows the Championship inside out from his time at Leeds and was quite successful during his time at Elland Road.
The Englishman, who can also operate as a right-back, moved to West Ham from Leeds in January 2016.
Much was expected of Byram at the London Stadium, but the 24-year-old failed to make a huge impact for West Ham, with injury issues playing a role.
Byram, who made 130 league appearances for Leeds, will be aiming to establish himself in the Forest first team and play a key role in the Reds’ quest to challenge for the Championship playoffs this season.
