Leeds United have been productive in the transfer market in recent days – and there could still be a huge signing to come.
The Whites have added Arsenal youngster Sam Greenwood, and then broke their transfer record on Valencia striker Rodrigo before landing Freiburg defender Robin Koch too.
Now, Leeds want a playmaker – and Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Whites have targeted a deal for Udinese ace Rodrigo De Paul.
It’s stated that talks are already underway between Leeds and Udinese, whilst Fabrizio Romano states that a deal could be worth up to €35million (£31million).
De Paul, 26, plays predominantly as a central midfielder or a number 10, but he can also operate on the flanks if needed.
Seven goals and six assists last season was a strong return for De Paul, whilst he also racked up 62 successful dribbles and 77 key passes; both in the top 12 in Serie A last term.

Marcelo Bielsa may see De Paul as the heir to Pablo Hernandez as Leeds’ creative force, and Leeds fans seem to be ecstatic at the prospect of De Paul arriving at Elland Road.
Some think that De Paul would be a ‘mad signing’ and ‘absolutely ridiculous’ based off his quality in Italy.
Others believe that this is a huge statement of intent from Leeds, with a couple of fans remarking ‘oh my God’ at hearing the Whites could even have a shot at signing a player of his ability.
