Orta has signed more than 30 players for Leeds United.

Leeds United fans are reacting on Twitter to reports that Victor Orta, their much-maligned director of football, is being considered to become sporting director at Deportivo La Coruna.
According to El Desmarque, Depor made informal contact with Orta last month, and have set a deadline of April 15th to find Richard Barral’s replacement.
Orta has been at Elland Road for less than a year, in which time he has recruited more than 30 players for Leeds’ first team and beyond.

At senior level at least, the Spaniard’s success stories are few and far between, with Samu Saiz the shining light. And that has led to widespread criticism from within the Whites support base.
Understandably then, the report has caused some excitement in West Yorkshire – although not all Leeds fans have written off Orta just yet.
Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter…
13th-placed Leeds finished seventh in the Championship last season, with a squad fine-tuned by the club’s previous-boss-but-one Garry Monk and his staff.
Should Leeds give more control to current manager, Paul Heckingbottom?
