The West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper is said to be on Leeds United’s radar.

Leeds United fans are reacting to reports the West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Jonathan Bond is on the Whites’ loan radar.
With Jamal Blackman definitely out of Saturday’s visit of Bristol City and Bailey Peacock-Farrell expected to join him, Leeds have requested permission to bring in emergency cover, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
And the same publication reports Bond is one potential option, having failed to play a single first-team game since his summer transfer from Reading to West Brom – although United would have had to register the 25-year-old before 12pm on Friday in order for him to feature against the Robins.
Bond – who suffered a serious injury while playing against Leeds for Watford five years ago – could still arrive at a later date, however, should Peacock-Farrell fail to recover.
But what would those of a Leeds persuasion make of his arrival at Elland Road?
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Meanwhile, one Reading supporter offered the following warning about the West Brom keeper…
English Football League rules state that Leeds could only make an emergency signing from under its umbrella, ruling out any player from the Premier League, non-league or abroad.
The Whites can still sign free agents, however, provided they were out of contract before the summer transfer deadline.
