Leeds United fans are reacting to reports a Huddersfield Town player is set to join Middlesbrough.
Rajiv van La Parra, the winger Leeds were recently linked to by the Sun newspaper, was spotted on Teesside this morning, ahead of a medical with Boro [Sky Sports].
Van La Parra was part of the Huddersfield side promoted to the Premier League two seasons ago and was a regular in his side’s first campaign back at that level, but has only appeared on five occasions this term and has been struggling with a back problem in recent weeks.
According to Sky, he will sign an initial half-season loan deal at Middlesbrough, who will have the option to buy him outright next summer.

Middlesbrough sold winger Adama Traore to Van La Parra’s former club, Wolves, in the summer transfer window, while Leeds have already seen Samu Saiz depart for Getafe ahead of next month, increasing their need for attacking reinforcements.
